I was born in Australia and had the opportunity
to come to the UK in 1983. Like so many Australians who
visit the UK, the original plan was to come here, do the
work I had been contracted to do, look around the UK and
visit relatives in Europe, then head back when my visa expired...
Within 6-month of being in the UK I met the man who was
to become my husband, and so the beginning of a new journey
began...
Between 1984 & 1986 I studied for on
a non-certificated course in Micro-Electronic Engineering
at CTC and Annex of Kingsway College London. On my graduation
from CTC, I was taken on by IBM UK as a customer service
repair engineer. I navigated my career progression from
IBM through other IT sector companies and I worked my way
up to to Corporate Systems Design Engineer, over a 5-year
period. My time at IBM in particular gave me a unique understanding
not only of computer technology in terms of hardware and
software platforms. I also received a wealth training; all
of which have proved invaluable, as I have developed and
my portfolio career has moved forward.
1991: I was
faced with a decision many career women are faced with...
"my career or my family"... "how to deal with
the economic bust of the late 1980's and hangover which spilled
over into the early 1990's?" I chose my family, over
a high-powered corporate career and returned to CTC in a teaching/mentoring
capacity for a year before starting my consultancy in 1992.
2004: The
needs of my family called for relocation from London. In the
final eventuality an opportunity presented itself to moved
to Southend. This is where my base of operations is located.
2004 was also pivotal for the following breakthroughs:
I decided that all my interests needed to be brought together
under one roof from
an enterprise perspective and commenced the filtering and
consolidation process.
I arrived at my theoretical solution to the problem of Global
Warming and Climate Change after 18+ years of analysis of
the available research (mostly secured from UNFCC)
2006-2008: I was invited
to Project Manage The Pi Community Art Project. This was a
monumental task, which was undertaken in full as a Pro-Bono
Project... I returned to educations, and was successfully
enrolled to commence my Post Graduate studies in Creative
Industries Management. I launched CrEsCo-East with the support
of my PGC cohort Was invited to attend as a delegate and Guest
Panelist at the 8th International Entrepreneurship Forum -
Ahmedabad, India.
2009: Has once again led
to new developments based on the knowledge, experience gained
through my studies, my involvement in the Pi Project, and
much more.
Key Events include:
- Further refining and defining of myself
and my brand and my operational practice.
- The science which underpins my theoretical
solution to the problem of
Global Warming and Climate Change was validated, providing
the opportunity to develop a new international Science,
Engineering and Technology collaborate consortium of partners,
to drive the project through to the next stage (R &
D solution system processes). See: SH
Systems International
- In partnership with local and international
colleagues in the Creative Industries, I initiated the Project
Development for our International creative and cultural
exchange program. [See Three
Way Split]
- Started Black
Box Internatonal Productions which is our vehicle
for driving forward a range of creative, cultural and heritage
projects designed to benefit our local community (Southend-on-Sea)
and the communities the project engages with.

theories and business models

wife with being a highly motivated entrepreneur and consultant.
