Demolition Sam was an experimental
web based new media and media broadcasting project based in
Southend-on-Sea, on behalf of Organic Films.
Demolition Sam focused on
the life and times of Demolition Sam, former racing greyhound
and his K9 friends. The film shorts which were broadcast from
the site included past racing footage from Demolition Sam's
glory days; footage of the greater Southend area including
The Cliffs Gardens, Westcliff-on-Sea, Chalkwell, Leigh-on-Sea
and Hadleigh Nature Reserve. Film shorts included original
music sound-tracks produced by Sean Berry.
The project was scheduled
to run for 2-years from 2006 - 2008 and has now come to an
end. Sean Berry continues to add new creative angles to his
experiemental projects and is currently focusing more on his
music. Sean and I continue to bounce creative ideas off each
other from time to time, in a very informal manner.
