Anna
Heim Design grew out of requests made to me by fellow independent
traders in the creative industries (Alternative Fashion Houses)
between 1998 - 2006.
With
a keen interest in art and design and a background in ICT, my
first enterpreneurial venture (RuneCraft UK) went global in 1996,
which is when I launched the first web site dedicated to the promotion
of this experiemental enterprise - As is the nature of e-business
marketing and promotions I was contacted by a varity of businesses
asking me if I would consider building them a web site; and help
them promote their businesses to a broader client base via the
facilities offered by the internet. Other clients asked for promotional
materials to be designed: Flyers, Brochures, printed media marketing.
This
entrepreneurial venture gave me the scope to explore my interests
in fashion and design, and led to the launch of ventures and projects
where Anna Heim Design was the over-arching brand name and included:

The
Badge Vault - Through the Badge Vault
in the period 2000 - 2006 I designed and manufactured arange
of fashion badges, which I retailed across London and Internationally
- over the 6 years that this was an active enterprise I developed
over 1000 unique and individual designs. I continue to design
and manufacture fashion badges but on a much smaller scale
than had been the case in the past.
Crypt Creations - A Gothic inspiried
enterprise specialising in Gothic Fashion Accessories.
Crypt Creations was launched as a social enterprise in 2000,
and continued to retail and wholesale the product range until
2006. During this time I had distribution outlets across the
UK and in Japan. The production model for this project provided
training and a modest income to the long-term unemployed, and
ethinic minorities commmunity on a profit sharing basis.
