Photos as submitted by our Volunteers and helpers on the night ~ The Artist Aerial Photo's were never provided to me for publication or distribution - for that I sincerely aplogies. As you will see from the photo's below this project offered the opportunity for people of all ages and abilities to participate. At final count we had 1000 officialy registered people from the community participated in this event, and an estimated 2500 people participating in total. We also had a visiting resistered volunteer from as far away as Bristol and Leighton Buzzard holding torches skywards for this ambitious community art project.

Essex PowerBockers demonstrating 'running' as a group outside Adventure Island. Essex PowerBockers supported Pi Community Art Project by bringing 16 members of their club to participate in 'Drawing to Performance'.

They spent about 90 minutes with us down at the Pier during which time the demonstrated a number of their Stunt Skills before Bocking off to their positions in Stuart Road.
Essex PowerBockers were a huge hit with all our volunteers and site-seers to Southend on the afternoon of the 12th April and proved that Southend's youth ARE community minded.
